Jamie Colquhoun

Construction Manager

Jamie has over 35 years of hands on and management experience in the construction industry leading multi-disciplined civil engineering teams and have unrivaled experience in delivering earthworks, drainage, pavements, structures, retaining walls and utilities relocation works.

His previous roles included General Superintendent for New Zealand Transport Agency’s PPP Puhoi to Warkworth project, where unparalleled targets are required in extremely challenging terrain, General Superintendent for the SH16 Causeway upgrade Project where existing soft ground conditions required significant ground improvements to widen and raise the existing motorway and the Tauranga Eastern Link D&C project where my experience and knowledge was used to increase productivity and improve use of on-site cut and borrow materials.

Jamie has a well-established track record in building and leading highly productive and successful teams through strong communication skills and ability to manage subcontractors and staff.

His practical ability to get the job done and expertise around plant and equipment selection, team selection, fill conditioning and sub-grade protection are directly relevant and transferable to any business where my contribution will be integral to ensuring success.
