This project was required to be constructed in a very constrained site, in a very tight timeframe. CB delivered the project ahead of schedule and within budget.
This project involved the construction of a 13m deep x 5.2 diameter shafts, with penetration connections of new and existing SW tunnels. The shafts are constructed using DOKA form work panels, with steel cases and segments lifted in place using a 100 Tonne crane.

Management of Temporary works design
De-watering of the 13m deep excavations
Connection, waterproofing and casting of tunnel structure around the base of the shaft
Completion of lift plans for complex lifts of formwork and steel cages
Installation of scaffold and temporary works access and platforms for construction
In-situ tying of steel and erection of DOKA formwork panels
In-situ timber formwork for channels, floors and geometric elements f construction
Pre-Cast of elements for shaft permanent access
Pumping and finishing of structural concrete
Flowable fill backfill
HSEQ compliance
CB Civil has reported strongly on the project showing a good health and safety culture on site. CB Civil recorded over 95% on the client and internal audits.
